Blakeman recently participated in the Montgomery TX Get Back To Work Day on August 9th, 2024. We also sponsored the local Lincoln Elementary School, where we were all assigned.
Our team came together to volunteer to serve our local schools in the MISD. The team assisted with various "wish list" tasks from the school they were assigned to. These tasks included bulletin board decoration, laminating, cutting out décor, cabinet organization, gardening, landscaping, and fence mural design.
The team worked very hard and made a huge impact, completing every task on the wish list from the school. We are proud of our team and their willingness to roll up their sleeves in the hot Texas weather and give back to the community, modeling the values that our company stands for.
We also collected supplies (coffee, tea, creamer, utensils, etc.) for the teacher breakroom, and they all came through with a wonderful stockpile that overfilled our donation area. This will be instrumental in providing a much-needed and relaxing area for the teachers to jump-start or recharge their day.
